Billy Kyle and Talisa met on Bumble in November 2022, because… well, let’s be honest: there’s really no way for Talisa to meet straight, single men at her cat cafe. Talisa struck up a conversation on the dating app by asking him about his Dungeons and Dragons campaign, and upon receiving his phone number, texted him pretending to be his pizza delivery driver named Tom. Turns out, that was believable, because Billy Kyle had actually ordered pizza for said Dungeons and Dragons campaign.

Their first date lasted seven hours, and by their second date (a whole two days later), they wore matching flannels and threw axes together. The two do not recall being separable since, and agree that it has felt like dating their best friend since the beginning.
